I have been way too inactive with my art for way too long now. I have been very occupied with moving lately. Once I get settled in to my new place, I will be able to focus more on drawing and possibly painting. Yes - I have decided I want to get back into painting. It has been about a decade since I picked up a brush and applied paint to canvas.

I am very excited about moving. I am moving in with someone I know which is great for starters. He is a versatile musician and very trustworthy. Plus he has a very lucrative daytime job. That was one factor I really worried about when faced with the reality of having to search for someone to live with and share the rent with. I just can't do it on my own anymore. I am also excited about the area I am moving to: Richmond, VA. I will be living very near the west campus of Virginia Commonwealth College (VCU). VCU has a wonderful school of art, so I will be surrounded by artist and, more importantly, ample opportunity to expose my art. Of course I know what that means regarding stiff competition, but all I really want to do is sit on the sidewalk and draw to my heart's content.

I could go on, but I am very awkward with journals so I will leave you with this. Thanks to all who still leave comments. You guys are true friends. I hope to have more updates soon. By for now.
