FINALLY!!! 0.o The LONG awaited house drawing commission I have been working on forever! Jeez Louise! Let's see... I put some thirty-odd hours into this thing. The man commissioned me to draw his house about three months shy of a year ago. He has been VERY lenient with me on when I get it completed. If you know me at all, this is a one way ticket for me to procrastinate. My God I am glad to have this thing done. Please - enjoy.

Just in case anyone was wondering, the completed size is 23" wide by 12 1/4" high and is one of the LARGEST drawings I have ever done. For all you painters out there with your two feet by three feet paintings, it is a LOT harder to cover ground with tiny little colored pencil tips.

*A special note for my beautiful :iconteblad: : I finally decided to use the photo of this drawing with all the orange since I couldn't find a shot with better detail. I love photoshop. I want to marry photoshop and have lots of kids. Sorry for the competition sweety. All I had to do to get this thing to look right is use auto color balance and everything just fell into place. Yay!

**A special note to all my awesome deviant watchers: Thank you all for having patience with me. I am a slow artist. I cannot pull drawings out of my arse every other week like some of you. I love you all. (insert cheesy grin)

Wow, did you draw this? Wow, you´re good, looks like my dream house, i love the tree in the left side, ´cause it looks more real than the right side

WOW! You drew this all by hand? AWSOME! :D I wish I could draw half this good! :D This is just stunning! All the colors are just so beautiful and vibrant and the house is just gorgeous! :D
What are the dimentions of the house(square feet)? :) LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I believe the drawing was somewhere around 18 x 24 (45.7cm x 61cm). I am generally more comfortable doing slightly smaller drawings but this is what the client wanted. :D

That's not what I meant. I meant, like, if the house were real, how many square feet would it have? :)

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you usually charge to draw a picture like this? :)

I generally charge between $200 to $300 dollars for something like that. Although the gentleman told me I was selling myself short and gave me $400.

The house was very large. I cannot even guess as to what the size in square feet was.

OKay, I was just wondering. :) I didn't know if the house was just a drawing or if it were a conceptual sketch for an actual house. :) Thanks, anyway! :D GREAT picture! :D How long did it take to finish? :)
